Sometimes as a parent, you wonder what you can do.
Izzy tries to be so silly, and it results in her being rude frequently. This happens a lot in sports at practices. We really don’t know what to do.
She also can get quite angry and mean. We’ve been working on this with her therapist, but and that does seem to have blunted the extremity of her tantrums, but it still exists. I wonder if we need to give her more creative outlets, because she loves to read and still loves to draw, dance, etc.
In the meantime, we have started soccer and volleyball for Izzy, and soccer for Joseph. Izzy really enjoys volleyball, you can tell. She just doesn’t want to practice anything. Joseph is similar, he just wants to play, but boy does he want to play all the time. Recently it’s been a lot of football, which I like because it is working on his catching and his throwing. Both of which he is improving at.
One day at a time we go. Benni will hopefully start sleeping through the night consistently, I think that will make a big difference for everyone!
