Izzy and Joseph just finished 2nd grade and Kindergarten. They both also just had their birthdays and turned 8 and 6. Where is the time going. Joseph grew a full head this year based on Anna’s first day/last day pictures. She is really good about taking those.
For Isabella’s party, we did crafts at the house. They made bags, hats, and other crafts and then played at the house. The swing is a big hit at the parties. There’s also quite the range of ages of kids now. For Izzy’s birthday we got her a 3D printer, which has been used almost every day since. They can basically make their own toys now, and they like making toys for other people too. It’s crazy what technology can do.
Joseph’s party was at the gym. He wanted to play dodgeball, so we rented Anna’s school gym and played games. It worked out because it was a rainy day as well, but it was quite the active party for me. We got him a souped up remote control car, that as of today, has somehow already been broken. It didn’t really even make it a week. There’s a 90 day warranty, hopefully we are still in the window.
We are at Noni and Baba’s this week because Anna still has school and we don’t have help otherwise. We also had my friend Barrow’s wedding on Saturday. So far so good. Few more days to go.
