I got to go to Izzy’s gymnastics the other night because Joe got sick and couldn’t go in the Y. I’m glad I did because I wanted to see it. That said, I don’t think Izzy’s future is in gymnastics. Her favorite thing was the uneven bars, where you hold on and they put your legs on a block and roll them. But other than that, I can’t say she loves it or excels. At the vault, she basically superman tackled the pad, because she did not want to do front flips. The climbing rope was more like a dangling rope. And the cartwheel station was kind of like a bear crawl. I know I’m her Dad, and I’m very supportive, but I’m also being honest and it was pretty fun to watch. The best part, she seemed like she was having fun. I don’t know if she was having more fun than dance, but we’ll see at the end of the year.
Speaking of Joe’s sickness, he’s fine, he had infitigo, not real sure how to spell that. He’s fine though, just has been a struggle with the band aids. Anna feels bad we sent him to daycare with it, but we honestly had no clue, and it did get much worse the last day. I worked from home with him Thursday, that was an adventure. That boy is hitting his 3 year old groove…to say the least. Hot and cold is an understatement.
