This morning, I dropped Joe off at daycare (that’s our thing now), he asked me for a hug, then one more hug, then he went and started playing in his class. That was a big deal, because we’ve been having to have his teacher hold him while I leave. We have fun in the mornings. Right now he wants to play tag and the memory games we have (Spidey and Friends or Octopus). He’s getting better at both.

We went to the Knights game Saturday, and as we were walking in, with Joe on my shoulders, a foul ball came right at us. While I didn’t try to catch it in the air, I let it bounce, it hit a net, and came right down into my hand. We have since painted that ball as a craft and its rolling around our floor, but I was happy.

At the game, Izzy made friends with one of the kids from GiGi’s Playhouse (she does that so easily), and I think she laughed for 10 minutes straight. They were hilarious together, and then we watched fireworks as it rained. Walking out, Izzy said that this counted as going to the pool because it was us getting wet (we got soaked).
