“Hey Joe, how much do you love me?” “No, Not at all!” That’s been a constant refrain lately, and the first time he said it was quite funny. Now its still kind of funny…
Izzy has been getting much better at swimming, and has really enjoyed making crafts lately. We’re sitting outside now, and she was in the i think cherry tree picking the flowers. There are some mornings where Izzy really likes going to school, some that she doesn’t. The ones that she doesn’t remind me of when we first took her to daycare, and how excited she would get when we picked her up.
Izzy’s playlist is now about 10 songs long, and she really enjoys music. Her most consistent favorite song is still Boogie Wonderland or Pepas, but Hallelujah and We Will Rock You are close.
Joe is also swimming better. He skipped lessons last time because he has allergies right now, but afterwards I played with him and he was just flopping around, jumping face first into the water with his goggles on. Joe has been riding his bike and scooter a lot lately, and is getting pretty fast. I’m not sure who will ride the bike without training wheels first, Izzy or Joe. We probably should put Izzy’s training wheels back on, as she made me take them off earlier but hasn’t rode them as much since.
Anna and I just got 3 nights without the kids. We went to Shannon’s engagement party in Emerald Isle, and the kids stayed with Marny and Poppa. I just wanted to sleep, and it was really nice. We’re lucky we have so much support.
