Joe goes with me to play disc golf a lot. He’s pretty chill, I think he likes being in the woods, and he sometimes follows the discs. Izzy will come with us as well, but not as much. She is starting to try to throw the disc, but really likes “big sticks” to carry.
2 times ago, Joe learned how to play peek a boo with a disc. He loves to do that now. He did it with the blanket while I was changing him today. He just laughs and his whole face lights up – and his two little teeth just hang out there.
Joe is also getting closer to walking. He’s able to stand for a few seconds on his own now, and I think he’s a few weeks a way from trying to take a few steps.
Izzy is obsessed with her white dress. We are going to start her in Dance (this week), Gymnastics, and Swim Lessons soon. I really just want her to do some things with other kids. She’s looking forward to it.
Tonight, we sang “Shallow” before bed. Izzy sang it with us. She’s starting to really remember words to songs, and that was a pretty special moment to sing that song with her. She can do a lot of the Disney songs too. Not commenting on her abilities yet!
