Hopefully by the time Izzy is my age, companies have gotten better at customer service. This morning, I called Lowe’s about our new store, they transferred me to corporate, who then transferred me back to the store, who has now transferred me back to corporate, and I’m still on hold. Holy cow.

Izzy is changing so fast. We look at pictures and videos from a year ago, she is a different woman. Same laugh, same body movements, but hair, teeth, talking, and running everywhere. She has the best smile.

We’ve recently been working on puzzles. She is getting slowly better. Still doesn’t quite understand the concept of corners and edge pieces, but we’ll get there.

We are also working on our swimming. She has her crabby still, and we tried one day without it, but she can’t quite float on her own. She’ll “kick, kick, kick”, go down our toy slide turned water slide, and jump in the pool though. She also likes to stand on mine and Uncle Paul’s shoulders, or get thrown into the “air” by me. We throw pretty high too and she just laughs and laughs and then says “mo air” (more air). “Hide” is another of her favorites, and she will rotate on everyone in the pool to “hide”. Last thing about the pool, she likes to take naps on the “rello (yellow) mat” and to sit on the ” boo (blue) mat”.

Starting wednesday of this coming week, Anna goes back to teaching, and I will be at home with Izzy and Joe during the day all alone. Wish me luck. Joe is still just chilling. If we can keep him up until 9ish, he tends to sleep until about 5, which is great. If we can’t, he tends to wake up at midnight and 3. His face has changed so much in the last month. It seems “brighter” to me, and he is smiling and cooing a lot.

We are lucky people to be living this lucky life.
