Benni is currently napping while I write this on paternity leave. Anna went back to school 3 weeks ago, Noni and Baba watched Benni during the day for the first 2 weeks, and now I’m back on the case. We’re getting into a decent rhythm, though we would like her to sleep a bit more during the night.
I’ve been struggling with Izzy lately. Her attitude/willingness to not follow directions is getting pretty bad. I don’t think I have the most patience either. Hopefully we can figure it out.
Joseph is having a play date today. He is mr. social. If he could have a playdate at his house everyday, he would. Hopefully this one goes well.
We have 2 more basketball games left in what is likely the last season of Izzy and Joseph playing on the same team. This year’s team is a bit stacked relative to other teams in the league, our YMCA doesn’t do a great job in that department. But the kids are having fun and have gotten a lot better. Joseph doesn’t really want to play anything else, already…. I think Izzy is going to get into volleyball and tennis. She seems to like hitting the balls over the net vs. trying to put them into the net. We’ll see how that shakes out.
