I don’t know if I’ve wrote about this yet, so we’ll do it now. After hearing Bennie and the Jets, Spotify liked to play more Elton John songs, and one of those was I’m Still Standing. Izzy has become obsessed with that song, and requests it to be played every morning. Joseph even knows the words at this point. Her knew ask to follow on to that is “Don’t go breaking my heart”. Who knew. Joseph then asks for “Chicken, Banana” and the Pokemon theme song. We get our variety in in the morning. I’ve got not quite a month left of getting to take them to school before Anna goes back to work. I do enjoy taking them in the mornings.
