Izzy and I went to the Panthers v. Texans game last Sunday. I’m not sure how much she liked it, but she did sleep the whole way home and until 7 pm, after which she was awake until about 11 pm. She really wanted her face painted, which we did, and then she wanted mac n cheese and ice water, which we got (BofA stadium has some really fancy Mac N Cheese). I think it was actually too hot for Izzy, which is crazy to say end of October. She was fine while we were in the shade, but once we were in the sun, she didn’t like it as much and wanted to go home. We ended up making it to the end of the 3rd quarter, which means we missed the one drive at end of game for Panthers to win it (it wasn’t a very exciting game). That said, Izzy is 1-0 for the Panthers…maybe we’ll save her next visit for a super bowl.
We also just finished Halloween (3 times of it). This year, because of Joe and Izzy’s obsession with the Mario movie, we had Princess Peach (Izzy), Donkey Kong (Joe), Luigi (Anna), and Mario (me). They wanted me to be bowser, but that was a bit difficult. Thought about making Mila be Bowser, but we were lazy. This year, the kids rode their scooters, and boy did it make it go faster (and make it so I didn’t have to carry). So much candy. Lot of fun. They are growing up so fast.
