Kids get you sick. That’s all there is too it. This time, think it started with Joe, then went to Izzy, then back to Joe, then to Anna and I. We both were out of it pretty good. Luckily, I was ok enough Saturday to take care of them, and then Anna was well enough Sunday to flip it.
Izzy has been saying, at night, before bed when you lay with her – “If I hold your hand, and my eyes are closed, I’m not asleep. If I don’t hold your hand and my eyes are closed, I’m asleep.” I find the way she says it both cute and amusing.
Joe is much better at saying prayers than Izzy, but they are both getting better. Joe always prays for his family, his cars, and something from that day that he liked. Izzy asks god to forgive her unicorn of her sins, and always makes everyone else go first.
We’ve tried to start riding Izzy’s bike without training wheels. I actually don’t think she’s far away, she did it for a few seconds the other day before she realized it. Joe may need another few months, but my guess is he won’t be far behind. He’s super fast on the scooter now. They whiz up and down the sidewalk on that thing.
