Well – I think I either meant to post a few times since last time or I did and it didn’t work. Either is very possible.

I think I forgot to write about Izzy’s dance camp. Her recital for that she did more dances than she did in the one for the entire year…Just in case, the video/link to the main one is below. Izzy is around minute 23ish I think (give or take) and 32. She’s in yellow. We actually do the dances from her dance camp a lot. Joe likes them too. Joe I think likes dancing more than Izzy does. We also dance to a song called “Stretch break” and the PJ Mask Theme Song.

PJ Mask is a new favorite. Think it became a favorite at our Holden Beach Trip. Btw, the kids loved the beach, especially the pool. With izzy able to swim, and Joe with his crabby, all they wanted to do was be at the pool. They also watched a lot of PJ Masks, to the point that I think we will be PJ Mask for Halloween. Anna already made actual masks to wear this week.

Speaking of Anna, we had our 6th anniversary defending our Fagan Fourth of July olympics title. It was close again, Joe and Laurel kind of gave it to us. Not sure how many more titles we’ll get to defend on our anniversary, but it was fun.

Joe has started not calling me Dad but Nate or Nathan. I’m not sure how much I enjoy it. “C’mon Nate, let’s go” is a favorite. He has started riding the scooter around on his own. He’s actually pretty good at it, but that leads to “Nathan, outside, now”. We are working on manners.

Lastly, the kids had covid this past week. Luckily nothing bad, Izzy had a pretty high fever for about 12-24 hours, but other than that, they were fine. Once again, the worst part was the isolation. Anna had to miss her Dad’s retirement party, Izzy and Joe had to miss Caroline’s birthday party, and Anna and I had to miss the Alicia Key’s concert at our favorite venue. First world problems I guess, but I sure am sick of Covid. Anna took her 8th straight negative test today, another reason I’m so tired of Covid is because she’s still so anxious about it, despite us literally being not at risk at all now. I’m beginning to become one of those people that really doesn’t care about getting it and/or spreading it – it’s here, it’ll be here, if ppl are vaccinated (which everyone can control), it shouldn’t be bad. We still get in cars and drive everywhere…don’t yell at me for that last sentence please ;), just my personal opinion.
