We have been pretty busy the last month – as we found a new house (we closed yesterday 4/6), and have been working on selling our current house. That said, doesn’t mean the kids have slowed down a bit.

Bike – Izzy turns 4 in a few weeks, but we went ahead and got and gave her her bday present. It was a big girl bike. At first we thought it was too big, but she is pretty good at it already. It was tricked out by it’s previous owner too, and is in really good shape. Izzy has really enjoyed riding it around the neighborhood and on the greenway so far. Joe tries to ride his, but he is just a smidge too small as well (we got him one with training wheels as well for $10).

Poop – On Joe news, on Tuesday (4/5) I was changing Joe’s diaper and he started making a poop face. I asked him if he needed to poop, and he said yes. I asked him if he wanted to go on the toilet, and he said yes. We then went to the toilet, but the baby seat was packed away. I proceeded to help him on the toilet, but he only tooted, then laughed, then was done. Maybe he’ll get the hang of it faster than Izzy.

House – We move into the new house Saturday (4/9). I’m ready to be in there and done with this process.

Ribbit – Last week, Joe dropped his ribbit (stuffed frog that is meant to be a heat pad) into a mud puddle on the greenway. It got nasty. We washed it. It still smells, awful. Anna tried to get him a new one, and he rejected that one pretty soundly today. We’ll see if he takes to it – but I can’t put up with old ribbit. He may have to get left behind in the move…
