We are making yet another offer on a house today. Here’s to hoping we get this one and it ends up being the right house for us.
Izzy has started wearing pigtail buns, and when she does, she looks like she is 8 years old, not almost 4. I don’t know what happened to my baby girl, but she is no longer a baby. We still snuggle every morning, I don’t know what she is going to do without me when I go to Colorado on my trip Wednesday. She built me a bracelet that I’m going to take, because I will miss her and that will remind of her.
Izzy is very close to swimming on her own. We’ve been practicing with a noodle, and she now loves to go to the lazy river. She is also so tall, that she can basically touch if she wants, anywhere, but she does a good job floating/swimming on the the noodle. Joe, loves to sprint and belly flop into the water, and then crawl on his hands like he is swimming. We are lucky that they both like the water.
Izzy’s basketball is going well. She has a good and nice coach named Coach Nick. Yesterday, she did a good job dribbling, and following instructions on the racing. Her shot is getting closer, she is able to shoot the ball twice as high as she did when we started. I think she is going to be making jump shots by the end of the season.
Uncle Paul had a successful surgery last week, for which we are all thankful. Noni took care of him, and then stayed with us for a night, and Izzy took all her ribbons and put them on bear.
Last night, we moved Joe into a big boy bed. He seems to have done ok, as he is still sleeping when I write this at 7:20 am on Sunday morning. We’ll see how he does for nap time, and may be able to get rid of the crib soon.
Izzy helped me write this one, and now we are going to do the hiney dance. Bye 🙂 !
