Yesterday, Izzy was explaining something to me, I forget what, and then at the end she asked – “Make Sense?” Alex and I just laughed. She’s truly getting older now. It’s going so fast.
This morning, we played catch. She’s starting to actually be able to catch without me throwing it directly into her arms.
We’re still working on the potty training. It’s coming along, and Izzy is doing better, but we’ve still got a long way to go. I sure would like to stop buying diapers for her!
My favorite thing Izzy does lately is at night, when we are putting her down. I’ll tell her I love her, and she will either respond with “I wuv you too” or “I wuv you too daddy”. Quite possibly my favorite words in the world.
Joe is on a tear too. He plays “chase the remote control car” now, and that will occupy him for a while. He can really move in his walker, and he can really move on the ground crawling now. He loves phones/computers (unfortunately), but also was really into wrapping paper. He tries to ball it up and put it in his mouth.
He’s getting really close to being able to pull himself up, and we think he may be an early walker. He’s pretty dang strong. My favorite part about Joe is his smile. I’ll walk down from working upstairs, and he’ll see me, and just smile. His eyes smile too by just lighting up.
We are lucky to have 2 healthy kids.
