learning new things everyday

We were supposed to go to San Fransisco on Friday, but that trip got cancelled. There’s this little thing called coronavirus going around that’s cancelling everything. Thankfully, it doesn’t effect little kids, so Izzy should be fine. It’s really bad for the elderly, so hopefully this thing can get wrangled and a treatment found soon.

Izzy is continuing to do new things. ABC’s are a new one, she says “P” and “X, Y”. She loves to count to ten in english and spanish, and her favorite numbers are “8” and “uno”.

At the pool, she’ll chase kids a little deeper and farther than she previously would. She’s close to swimming on her own I think. She likes to play with the ball in the water, throwing it down the slide and then going to go get it. She also likes to be thrown up and down, with her traditional “mo pleaz” coming after you stop.

She plays her instruments, until she puts the guitar pick into the guitar, and today she exercised with Anna. They did squats, lunges, and leg lifts. She loves music though, especially “bus” (wheels on the bus) and “happy” (Happy and you know it). She can do the entire dance to “Happy”, and her favorite part is “hooray”.

Izzy laughs a lot, and her laugh is still the same as the first day she laughed. I wish for her that she keeps her laugh.
